Bob Duval. What comes to mind about him today was his laid back (jeeze everybody in California was laid back) persona and his love of fine music. I will always appreciate Bob turning me on to the lovely piano trills of Erik Satie (especially Gymnopedie No.1 and Gnossienne No.1). This music seemed to go hand in hand with the passionate interest of Bob and his friends in the mystical teachings of Gurdjieff.
